TAC (touring actors company) really has two divisions

The classes, workshops and productions.

These are most often held in our studio in Rochester at 150 wakefield St. They are taught by professional local working artists and are available to anyone in the community. They are fun, inexpensive, and offered as one day workshops or 12 week sessions of classes. See schedule of classes for more detail.

We also offer shows in the theatre at TAC, and these are sometimes student productions, and sometimes visiting professional artists. Keep an eye on the events page to keep track of these productions.

The Teen Division

This is an auditioned educational company, with shows created for and by children, teens and adults. The teen division is available with fun shows suitable for performances at schools, festivals, fairs, parties, meetings, etc.

This is theatre by young people for young people of all ages.

Youth who spend their time making beautiful things, learning to cooperate, working on literacy, and developing public speaking skills, do not have time to devote to less desirable activities. We hope that this group of dedicated, talented young people will inspire others to take an interest in themselves and the performing arts. Many studies have shown the correlation between arts enrichment activities and academic achievement, school attendance, happiness in life and self motivation.

We are always interested in having new actors join this company.

The Professional Division

This is a group of local professional writers, actors, dancers, musicians etc that are available to come to your location for performances, workshops, artist in residence programs and classes. For more information about what these artists can offer – please click on their photos on the instructors page, or look at the attached professional division brochure (carrie, I will get this to you)
