2006 SCHOOL FLYER
Registration is ongoing – and we have an open house
at our new facility on Wakefield Street (second floor of the community
center) on Sept 14, 15 and 16 all day and evening. Prices range from $96
to $180 for a 12 week session.
Classes for preschoolers:
Stories and Songs 18 months and up Mon or Wed FREE (donations

Preschool Performing fun for ages 3 – 5 Monday

Not sure if 12 weeks is for you? Check out our 3 hour
“introduction to……” workshops
offered on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. No commitment, just basic information
about the topic, and then you decide whether to take a longer class. Workshop
fees are $25.00 each.
Private voice, piano, and flute lessons
are available in ½ hour increments. Check out our new combination
voice/keyboard class ! Privates are $20 per ½ hour, one month commitment.
Technical Certificates :
We have a new program for students interested in technical
theatre. Technical certification starts with a 3 hour intro class and
then, depending on the discipline, the student goes on to a 12 to 40 hour
practical series of workshops and productions resulting in certificates
in Stage Lighting, Stage Sound, Theatrical Scenery, Costumes for the Stage,
and Stage Management.
Performance Opportunities :
In addition to the “sharing show” at the
end of each 12 week session, TAC periodically offers auditions for teen
and professional performances. Performances include staged readings, touring
school shows, in house productions and productions that are cooperative
with other local theatre companies.
The first audition of the 2006/2007
season will be on Saturday, Sept 16 th from 10:00 – 12:00 and on
Sunday Sept 17 th from 2:00- 5:00. This audition will be for our version
of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. This will be an original
musical version of the classic tale.
